A Charming Setting

Cherry Valley is stunningly beautiful. The Appalachian Trail runs along the top of the ridge and our winery is nestled at the valley floor. Surrounded by shade trees and situated next to a small, water lily-filled pond with trickling stream (complete with a small, wooden bridge for that perfect wedding photo), the Pavilion is a handmade, 40-foot diameter, high-ceilinged wooden gem of a structure. Many a first dance has happened in our gorgeous Pavilion, under the twinkling lights, after the sun has set on our scenic grounds. What could be more romantic?

About Sorrenti's Cherry Valley Vineyards

Dominic Sorrenti was raised in Milwaukee and participated in his family's winemaking from his childhood and he always dreamed of having his own winery and vineyard. This dream came true over a dozen years ago and today, Sorrenti's Cherry Valley Vineyard produces a wide variety of award-winning wines.

How did an Italian American from Milwaukee wind up making awardwinning wines in Pennsylvania? With a lot of hard work, love, passion and commitment. To get the full story you need to come into the winery. Let us show you around, give you the tour, let you sample some fine wine. Then the story of how we got started will make more sense.

Pennsylvania grows some wonderful grapes. Some make a delicious, dry, full-bodied, high-tanin wine. Others make delicate, fresh, semi-dry wines. Still others produce a luscious, grapey blush. But wait, there's more.

Pennsylvania also grows fruit. Our wine makers have developed a whole cellar of 100% fruit wines, including Apple, Peach, Raspberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Blueberry and more. Good fruit wines are both rare and difficult to make. Ours are exceptional and most are repeat medal winners.

Then there are sparking wines. We have won more prizes for our Spumantes than we can count. They come in a rainbow of colors and fruits and are not to be missed. These too are Pennsylvania wines.
